Sugar Cookies
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 1 cup salted butter (softened)
- 1 egg (large)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 2 1/2 cups ultragrain flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
Directions
Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and extracts and mix well. Refrigerate dough for 3-4 hours. Roll out dough to 3/4" thick, then cut out with cookie cutters. Bake at 375 for 7 to 8 minutes. Yields about 5 dozen cookies. | |
