Cinnamon-Nutmeg Coffee Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 cups ultragrain flour
  • 1 cup dark brown sugar (packed)
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon nutmeg (ground)
  • 3/4 cups oil
  • 3 teaspoons cinnamon (ground)
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 egg (large)
  • 1 cup buttermilk

Directions

In a large bowl, combine flour, sugars, salt, nutmeg, cinnamon, and oil until crumbly. Remove 1/2 cup of mixture and set aside for topping. Add baking soda, egg and buttermilk to the large bowl and mix until blended, careful not to overmix. Pour batter into a greased 13x9 pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup reserved topping.

Bake for 30-40 minutes at 375.
